M42 - Orion Nebula
The Orion Nebula (also known as Messier 42 or M42, NGC 1976) is one of the brightest diffuse nebulae in the night sky. Clearly recognisable to the naked eye as a non-stellar object, it lies south of the famous Orion's Belt asterism, at the centre of the so-called Sword of Orion, in the constellation of the same name.
Beyond 1×, the image is enlarged without interpolation, showing the original pixels as they are, so as not to alter the details of the photo.
