IC1805 - Heart Nebula
In the constellation of Cassiopeia. IC 1805, nicknamed the Heart Nebula, lies within a very extensive H II region and pairs up with the Soul Nebula, IC 1848. Its shell-like structure gives it the typical shape of a heart, containing a system of small, loosely concentrated star clusters, the most important of which is Melotte 15, home to some stars 50 times more massive than the Sun and a microquasar. Parts of this nebula are also sites of very active star formation. Its estimated distance from us is about 7,500 light-years.
